Once every twenty years, Florida's Constitution provides for the creation of a 37 member revision commission for the purpose of proposing changes to the Florida Constitution for voter consideration.

The 2017-2018 Florida Constitution Revision Commission (CRC) is only the third of its kind and St. Thomas Law is pleased to be able to host a truly historic CLE event on Wednesday June 6th at 3:30pm in the Moot Court Room. Please join us for an exclusive panel discussion on the amendments considered, rejected and approved for the November ballot and the potential impact for legal practitioners working in the State if one or more is ratified by the voters. Specifically, we will cover what statutes might have to be changed and what the affect will be on existing case law. Potential amendments include changes in public education, lobbying rules and crime victims’ rights.

We hope you will join us for this momentous event on June 6th. Tickets are $50 and available at: Proceeds from this event will benefit scholarships for law students with financial need.
